Nothing has happened since I last updated.
Wait, that's not true. I have been many places, and done many things. Rather than try to summarize it all, I have a few photos for now, to tide you over.
(I'm using a new photo thing, called
Hello. You can click on the pictures to make them bigger.)
Here's some bathroom graffiti from a lovely
cafe in Madison, Wisconsin. The
Heisenberg joke is midly funny; the retort is decent bathroom humor. (In case you can't read it, it says "If so, you'll never know how long it took him to finish...") What really strikes me though, is that someone took the time to write out the
Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, and then they felt the need to define
h-bar as "h/(2 Pi)". That's the right definition and everything, but... I don't think anyone who's unfamiliar with h-bar is really going to care.
This one is from a
coffee shop that I like in Pittsburgh. WHY is the woman in this poster dressed in renaissance faire garb? Abusive relationships are certainly not funny, but the choice of illustration does make me giggle.
